CareerValue earns revenue from clearly priced products and, where explicitly labelled, optional partner referrals. Commercial relationships are kept separate from career recommendations.
Career recommendations and comparison signals are generated from the user's supplied evidence, preferences and the labour-market data available to CareerValue. A training provider, employer, advertiser or affiliate partner cannot pay to improve a career's score, move it higher in the results or hide a competing pathway.
We can charge one-off prices for products such as Full Career Reports, fixed-term Plus access and Job Application Packs. The price and access period are shown before purchase. CareerValue does not use automatic renewal for these products.
CareerValue may earn a commission when a user voluntarily follows a clearly labelled partner link, for example to research training. Partner links are marked as commercial and do not affect the recommendation engine.
CareerValue can show a single clearly labelled in-article ad on selected free guide pages. Advertising is kept out of the résumé analysis, results, account, pricing and checkout journeys, and CareerValue does not use pop-up or full-screen ad placements in this setup.
CareerValue does not sell a user's résumé, saved analysis or CareerValue account identity to advertisers or training partners. Partner click measurement is kept aggregate rather than tied to a CareerValue account.
The product is allowed to conclude that staying in a current role, changing employer, waiting, or doing more research is more sensible than changing careers or buying training.
If CareerValue later shows training partners, the trigger must be a genuine qualification, licence, skill or training gap identified in the user's evidence or a real job advertisement. Users should still confirm the employer requirement and compare accreditation, cost, delivery mode and suitability themselves.
CareerValue may receive referral revenue from a clearly marked partner link. We will not describe a commercial partner as “best” merely because it pays CareerValue.
