You can delete account dataAccount settings let you clear ordinary analysis history or delete the account. Account deletion also removes access to purchased reports, application packs and unused paid credits.
How recommendations are produced
CareerValue uses software-based analysis to compare the profile you confirm with occupation, labour-market and transition information. No human career counsellor individually reviews each result unless CareerValue expressly says otherwise.
Fit estimates alignment between confirmed experience and occupation work. Mobility reflects occupational movement evidence. Market uses labour-market indicators. These are comparison signals, not hiring probabilities.
CareerValue is a career exploration and decision-support service. It is not a recruitment decision-maker, employment guarantee, licensing authority, registered training organisation, legal adviser or financial adviser.
WHY I BUILT CAREERVALUE
Hi, I'm Tom. CareerValue came from something I'd been through myself.
Changing careers can be a strange process. You might have years of experience behind you, but the moment you start looking outside your current industry it can suddenly feel like none of it counts.
I found that one of the hardest parts wasn't finding job ads — there are plenty of those. It was working out which roles were actually realistic, what experience would transfer, what I might need to learn, and whether making a change meant starting all over again.
That got me thinking that there had to be a better way to look at it.
CareerValue is built around a fairly simple idea: your career should be looked at as a collection of experience, skills and capability — not just your current job title.
I wanted to create something that could help people see opportunities they might not have considered, while still being realistic about things like qualifications, salary, training and how difficult a transition might actually be.
I also didn't want it to be one of those sites that gives you a flashy score and tells you it has figured out your future. Career decisions are too important for that. CareerValue is meant to give you useful information and options, then leave the decision with you.
I'm still improving it as more people use it, and feedback genuinely helps shape what gets built next.
